Our office was contacted by the Nick Cannon Foundation, (He is the host of America’s Got Talent among many other ventures.) Nick Cannon is originally from the San Diego area and he wants to give back to the community. His foundation works to educate youth to the global career and entrepreneur opportunities available on the "business side" of the mega multi-media/entertainment industries. Please share the attached competition guidelines with your students. This is an amazing opportunity with a grand prize of $5,000 to $10,000 cash prize. The top three teams will be selected to attend the upcoming CCTE showcase on June 1 to present their business plans to a panel of judges including Nick Cannon himself. Students can create business plans for a variety of ideas such as a podcast, radio/television show, invention, clothing line, innovative app, production company etc. All CTE students in all industry sectors can enter.
