The Mixing console
In professional audio, a mixing console, or audio mixer, also called a sound boardmixing deskaudio production console, or mixer is an electronicdevice for combining (also called "mixing"), routing, and changing the level, timbre and/or dynamics of audio signals. A mixer can mix analog or digital signals, depending on the type of mixer. The modified signals (voltages or digital samples) are summed to produce the combined output signals.
Mixing consoles are used in many applications, including recording studiospublic address systemssound reinforcement systemsbroadcastingtelevision, andfilm post-production. An example of a simple application would be to enable the signals that originated from two separate microphones (each being used by vocalists singing a duet, perhaps) to be heard through one set of speakers simultaneously. When used for live performances, the signal produced by the mixer will usually be sent directly to an amplifier, unless that particular mixer is "powered" or it is being connected to powered speakers.

3 song form samples. Listen and read about all 3

Song Sample:

A song that uses the AAA form is "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon and Garfunkel. When you look closely at the lyrics you'll notice that it has three verses each consisting of several lines. Each verse is lyrically different and there is melodic variation in the final verse. At the end of each verse the line "Like a bridge over troubled water" is repeated. You will also notice there is no bridge or chorus.
First A: When you're weary, feeling small
Second A: When you're down and out
Third A: Sail on silvergirl (gives melodic variation)

Bridge Over Troubled Wate...

Type of Song Form:

AABA, this type of song has an opening section (A), a bridge (B) before transitioning to the final A section. This song form is used in a variety of music genres including pop, gospel and jazz.

The classic AABA song form can be illustrated as such:
A = 8 bars
A = 8 bars
B = 8 bars
A = 8 bars
You'll notice that it has 32 bars all in all. The first and second A sections are composed of verses which are similar in melody but different in lyrical content. This is followed by the bridge (B) which is musically and lyrically different than the A sections. The bridge gives the song contrast before transitioning to the final A section.

Song Sample:

AABA Song Form - "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"
First A: Somewhere over the rainbow way up high
Second A: Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue
B Section: Someday I'll wish upon a star and wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Final A: Someday over the rainbow bluebirds fly...

Somewhere Over The Rainbo...Judy Garland - Wizar...
AABABA Song Form - "Longer"
First A: Longer than there've been fishes in the ocean
Second A: Stronger than any mountain cathedral
B Section: I'll bring fires in the winters
Third A:Through the years as the fire starts to mellow
B Section: Instrumental
Final A: Longer than there've been fishes in the ocean (repeats the first A section)
